Check out my SLIT. It's a seedy acronym for Sound Literature. My SLIT is called Unpredictable Leather. Because that's how the Bible Belt is. Unpredictable. I've been in a lot of trouble for my SLIT and I want to share it with you.
I investigated a community of viscous dimwits and found the entrails of collective suicide in America's Hometown: empty minds, empty houses, empty factories, empty fields, empty refrigerators, two Wal-Marts, and a full jail.
"America has the best prisons on Earth!" Arrested children flicker on nightly t.v.s as entertainment, students are sexually assaulted at school, and the hypocritical wars on drugs and terror rage without mercy. "Closeted congressmen for war!" Patriarchal segregation reigns. "Str8 men only!" Confederate flags hang in windows and are stamped on cars, belt buckles, and knives. "Home of the brave!" Religious fundamentalism sweeps the town like bath salts. "D.A.R.E. to be different!" Belligerent billboards of Anti-Logic scream into a blank sky and advertise aggressive war and fat cars. "The tunnels of shit flood with patriotism!" Conformity is the aftermath of fashion.
I live in a state where many people don't know the difference between a cum stain and a baby. I doubt they know what to do with a collection of SLIT.
